The Big Problem with Google

It’s the beginning of a new year which means there are plenty of great sales right now for almost any web hosting company that you can think of. This is my favorite time of the year due to the fact that I runs dozens of different domains which, from time to time, need a new hosting company. Moving so many domains over to a single new host can be a tedious task if the host isn’t cut out for the amount of traffic and data that I’m about to send their way. Luckily I don’t have to do this very often but I try to keep all my domains spread out in clusters through various hosting companies.

This helps protect my privacy while also improving the quality of some facets of my business. Since I run a backlinking company it’s important that many of my domains are not associated with one another to avoid the trolling of Google’s Panda Filter which has been specifically and finely tuned to look for such a thing. Did you know that Google hates competition? It’s true. This is why they put so many web developers out of work for their SEO and Backlinking enterprises.

It’s clear how Google gets away with these shady business practices; money and power. If only we all had as much as Google we too would be free to do whatever we want on the web. It’s a shame that they are in other ways a great company. Their dictation of what the web should be, however, is nothing but censorship. Google has reached a point where they can be considered too powerful. When business choices effect what is seen or not seen on the web then there exists a problem which needs to be addressed. How? I have no idea.
